KSD’s Enrollment Decline & Boundary Adjustment Updates

In case you are not aware, KSD presented its “Class Size & Staffing Report” and the “Boundary Adjustment Presentation” at the Board meeting on April 17, 2023. Both of these are very important.

Please note that KSD enrollment has indeed decreased since April 2022. This fact contradicts the recently posted dismissal by the superintendent about families leaving KSD (see post from April 12, 2023).

Also, please note that there is a new interactive website where you can learn about the new boundary proposals. There are also many info sessions coming up and since this is a critical process for the entire district, we encourage families to follow it closely and provide input. 

Both of these presentations are available on BoardDocs (accessible from the KSD Board of Education webpage) and we encourage citizens to review them.
